Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai to rewind the time with Action Replayy on This Diwali

“Once Upon a Time in Mumbai” seems to have brought the magic of retro back in Bollywood. Now “Action Replayy” on this Diwali will once again rewind the time and will take us to 1970’s era with Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai sporting retro looks.

Intersetingly, Mr. Khiladi aspires to rewind the time in real life too. He wants to relive his school days. He wants to be part of his parents wedding and wants to know about their falling in love. When he was asked as to what changes he would like to make in his career, he replied that he would like to make amendments in his movie “Sangharsh” with Priety Zinta. After remaking it, he would like to re-release it. He says that it has got fabulous subject and is close to his heart. That is why he chose to groom it and represent it to the audiences.

“Action Replayy” will connect the audiences to their favorite actors of yesteryears. The flavor of colorful 70’s in their clothes, accessories, gestures, and architecture is clearly depicted in the promos of “Action Replayy”. Clad in dotted polka and lengthened side locks Aishwarya is reminding of gorgeous beauties of 1970’s and Akshay Kumar will be seen wearing flowery shirts and bell-bottoms and the high spot of their looks are squared dark glares.

Akshay Kumar has aped the looks of veteran actor Sunil Dutt. He preferred to be stayed on with one style icon instead of messing it up with all of stars of 70’s. When he was asked as why he didn’t opt for superstar Rajesh Khanna, he admitted that Rajesh Khanna had been unparalleled star of his time but Sunil Dutt’s style suits fit in this case. However Khiladi Kumar desires to witness that era of Rajesh Khanna who was first in Bollywood to earn the title of super star. Akshay wishes to perceive the glory and celebrity status that his father-in-law gained in olden times.

“Action Replayy” is based on the play that was staged in way back 1994 with the same title. Vipul Shah, director of the movies adapted the script to be developed into movie’s script. Vipul Shah admitted that it was tough job to bring authenticity in each of the aspect of 1970’s life. Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai has come up together after “Khakee”.
