Tekken Movie Plot Summary:
Based on the fighting game series of the same name. The film follows rebellious teenage fighter Jin Kazama (Jon Foo) in his attempts to enter the Iron Fist Tournament to avenge the loss of his mother, Jun Kazama, by confronting his father, Kazuya Mishima (Ian Anthony Dale) and his grandfather, Heihachi Mishima (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa), the latters of whom he thought were responsible for her death. In the year 2039, after World Wars destroy much of civilisation as we know it, territories are no longer run by governments, but by corporations; the mightiest of which is the Mishima Zaibatsu. To placate the seething masses of this dystopia, Mishima sponsors the King of Iron Fist Tournament, or Tekken, in which fighters battle until one is left standing, who in turn will receive a lifetime of stardom and wealth. We are introduced to this violent world through the eyes of Jin Kazama.

Tekken Movie Review :
Well, to be honest this movie is better than Boll's movie. It has great action and all, but the story is awful. It's just plain awful. Tekken is my favorite fighting game, and I was hoping that someday there will be a live-action movie about it. First of all let's talk about the story. The story of the movie is different with the game itself. I don't want to write the whole story(even though I want to). It's about Jin Kazama who wanted to seek revenge after her mother's death(jun Kazama) by entering the Iron Fist. And suddenly the story went horribly wrong when Kazyua slept with Nina and Anna. I mean Nina and Anna hated each other for a long time. And Kazuya always hate Heihachi after the incident at the cliff. And in this movie, Heihachi is a good guy. I mean Heihachi is always a bad guy. So the story is awful. This movie I believe will confuse the loyal gamers of Tekken. In this movie Steve Fox is Jin's coach, and he used to be a tekken fighter with Jun, and he has a very short hair. In the game Steve is Nina biological son or something, and he has hair. And there are still other characters that I have not mention. and one thing, I really hope that someone will make TEKKEN one of the best movie ever. even the cartoon one is better than this one.

I've expected low expectations for this movie since it's a video game adaptation and have been hoping to end quite good. But, the movie was quite disappointing.
I watched this yesterday and I saw the theater was quite occupied. In the middle of the movie, people were going out the theater.
There are many disappointing things in the movie especially with the selection for the characters. The story was also very different from the games and really, I was shocked about the currency they have in the movie: Tekken Red and Global Blue rather than G of games.

The story was rubbish. It was really different from the games. I really didn't like it. And guess what, the stages for the battles are even more disappointing unlike the games. There are many differences from here and the games like their wrong assigned languages.
For me, the music is not suitable for me because fighting scenes for me are better suited with thrilling music not rock music. And the fighting styles for Jin here is not like the games. Instead, they look more of street fighting.
Now, I'm about to talk about the looks. The looks of the characters are another piece of junk for this movie.
Jin: So far, he's the most suitable character choose for me. But, his looks were quite bad and in this story, he's real weak. His hair is not really spiky enough or whatever you call like the game. Looks like a mixture of Chinese and Japanese.
Christie: Skin color mistake. She's white in the movie and dark in the games. Wrong skin color. Wrong storyline from the games. Not pretty suitable.
Kazuya: He looks like a rich man. His hair is not like the games and he has a more different attitude than the game especially on his private business. Looks like he's American not Japanese.
Heihachi: Looks funny. Seems like the Mishima family has different bloodlines. His hair not exactly the same from the games.
Some of the other characters have different outfits from the game like Miguel who's supposed to be clothed. Some instincts of the characters like Raven or Yoshimitsu are removed from the movie.
If you're one of the many Tekken fans, I recommend to not waste your life on watching this piece of disappointing art. But, if you can't stop your curiousness about the Tekken movie, just RENT it on DVD.In conclusion, as a Tekken fan, I didn't like the movie.
