Plot Summary:

The Debt English Film Synopsis :
The story centers on Rachel Singer (Mirren), a former Mossad agent who endeavored to capture and bring to trial a notorious Nazi war criminal – the Surgeon of Birkenau – in a secret Israeli mission that ended with his death on the streets of East Berlin. Now, 30 years later, a man claiming to be the doctor has surfaced, and Rachel must go back to Eastern Europe to uncover the truth. Overwhelmed by haunting memories of her younger self and her two fellow agents, the still-celebrated heroine must relive the trauma of those events and confront the debt she has incurred.
The film is based on Assaf Bernstein's 2007 Israeli film of the same name. Matthew Vaughn and fellow Kick-Ass co-writers Jane Goldman and Peter Straughan penned the screenplay.
I really do wonder if it’s possible for a week to pass without Sam Worthington getting cast in another new project.
The Avatar lead currently has three films already done and ready to go: Last Night, The Debt, and Clash Of The Titans, and has also previously been attached to The Fields, Dracula: Year Zero, as well as The Last Days Of American Crime. Well, now according to Pajiba (via The Playlist), he has been cast in the lead of the upcoming film, Dan Dare: Pilot Of The Future.

The Debt is about retired Israeli Mossad agents who have their lives jeopardized when the target of one of their previous missions returns very mush alive though he was supposed to be dead. One of the agents has to go and uncover the truth a mission which takes a drastic change with unforeseeable circumstances. The movie will be released on 29th of December giving a great masterpiece of a project by a collaboration of big names.
