Jeanne, a wife and mother of two, realizes that small changes are taking place in the arrangement of her family home, as well as in her physical appearance, although she seems to be the only one to notice. Jeanne is certain that her changes of perception are as a result of something profound, not stress or fatigue as everyone else seems to believe. Upon visiting her mother, she comes upon a photograph that pushes her to travel to Italy in order to track her down. Life may not be what we think it is. What we see is merely our perception and the truth or reality, as one may call it, might be a completely different thing. Today, we live a perfectly normal life, no complications, no questions, and tomorrow we might wake up querying ourselves about all sorts of aspects of our inner or outer existence.
One day, Jeanne (Sophie Marceau) is a successful writer, a happy wife and a caring mother of two children, but suddenly things start changing in a way she can neither anticipate nor comprehend.
Change usually brings a lot of unknown in humans’ lives, a variety of unanswered questions, a hard to understand anxiety and the feeling of not knowing enough about oneself or the ones around you.
