This time of year, it's always great to revisit old school frights and based on advanced word of mouth The House of the Devil delivers the goods. Written and directed by Ti West ( The Roost ), the film premieres on VOD today courtesy of Magnet Releasing. A limited theatrical run will follow later this month on October 30. Jocelin Donahue, A.J. The House Of The Devil in the same day, I’m surprised a full eclipse didn’t occur over Austin, TX’s Alamo Drafthouse, where the fifth annual Fantastic Fest is being housed. Normally, it would seem an unlikely choice to review two movies in the same breath, but it’s more than appropriate in this case.

The long awaited The House of the Devil from director Ti West makes its debut on Xbox Live and Video on Demand today (Look for it in Theatres October 30th).
