Ramu Enterprises 27th venture ‘Rajani’ starring Upendra and Arthi Chabria in the lead roles a remake of Telugu film ‘Krishna’ has shot climax for the film in a different style in Mysore.
Mumbai actor Mukul Dev, 1000 extras, 50 lorries, 25 Scorpio vehicles, 100 Tata Sumo were utilized for the stunning action scene. Steady camera, Panasonic 500 and two other cameras were pressed in to action. At Lalith Mahal surrounding cameraman Janardhan shot the action portions in the action composition of Thriller Manju.
Ramnarayan has penned the dialogues and Hamsalekha scores the music. Thriller Manju besides doing the stunt portion also handle the direction of the film ‘Rajani’.
Komalkumar, Sharath Lohitashva, Doddanna, Avinash, Ramesh Bhat, Rangayana Raghu, Sadhu Kokila, Bullet Prakash, Satyajith, Pavitra Lokesh, Chitra Shenoy, Thulasi, Mukul Dev, Dhandapani and others are in the cast.
Rajani movie is the remake of telugu movie Krishna. Upendra and Arathi Chabria are in lead roles. Upendra is a happy-go-lucky guy who falls in love and sacrifies everything. How he puts an end and marries Arathi Chabria forms the rest of the story.
There were reports that Upendra's next film Rajani is the remake of the Tamil film Ghajini which featured Suriya, Asin and Nayantara. But producer Ramu of Ramu Enterprises has quashed these rumours and revealed that Rajani is a remake of the Telugu super hit Krishna, directed by V.V. Vinayak and produced by B. Kasi Vishwanatham. Featuring Ravi Teja and Trisha in the lead, Krishna was the first declared hit of 2008.
Ramu says that Ghajini is already remade in Hindi and Telugu and he does not want to do it again. Upendra is in Hyderabad shooting for Shreemati, the remake of the Hindi movie Aitraaz; Rajani is set to start in April.
