Shanghai is an upcoming drama-mystery-thriller film directed by Mikael Håfström and starring John Cusack and Gong Li. The film is set for release on March 5, 2010. Shanghai has been rated R by the MPAA for strong violence, some drug use and brief language.In the months leading up to the bombing of Pearl Harbor, an American man (Cusack) arrives in Shanghai to find his friend recently murdered.
