Short Review
This uniquely titled movie, produced by Kool Productions has been directed by P.V.Ravi ,who was an assistant to Lingusami. The film stars Sakthi, P.Vasu’s son, who debuted in Thottal Poo Malarum to acclaim. His pair is the talented youngster Sandhya, with Daniel Balaji and Keerthi Chawla along with them. The subject seems to be a cheery youth-oriented one. Vidyasagar’s fans are eagerly awaiting the film as he seems Mahesh Saranya Matrum Palar to have put in a lot here. 8 songs feature in the album-a hefty number, indeed! How has the melody maker fared? Kaatre Kaatre... Vocals: Benny Dayal Lyrics: N Muthukumar The excited outpouring of a young heart afflicted with love—and adequately expressed by Benny Dayal. In fact he is getting better with every song! Has the feel of a pop number. The exuberant guitar dominates the song, with minimal inputs from the keys and violin. Small but dramatic swirling sangatis mark this song which appears set to the Kiravani scale.More Reviews Of The Film coming soon Watch online Movie Trailer free Yaaradu Kannada Mysowood Indian film. The film Directed by Srinivas .

The Good Life Movie Synopsis:
Edmundo is a hairdresser who wants a car. Mario wants to play in the Philharmonic. Teresa wants her husband back. Santiago can be a very cruel place for people. "La Buena Vida" or "The Good Life" combines three stories of different inhabitants of Santiago de Chile. The experiences of a girl and her undesired pregnancy, an unemployed musician and an unsuccessful beautician touch each other in a subtle way, although their lives on the surface do not seem to be connected at all.
The Story The Good Life :
We have long admired Chilean director Andres Wood. Having seen his "Historias del futbol" and "La fiebre del loco", we were eagerly anticipating the arrival of his new film "La buena vida". Co-written for the screen by Rodrigo Bazaes and Mamoun Hassan, this film follows in the favorite narrative of a lot of Latin American creators, most notably Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, and his long time collaborator, Guillermo Arriaga. Supposedly, this film is based, loosely, one would suspect, in real stories. We are taken to meet a few people in Santiago that have nothing to do with one another, much less, know anyone of the other characters in the story, yet, at some point of the film their lives touch each and everyone of the lives of the people being followed. As the film opens, we are taken to a class being directed at what appears to be a group of prostitutes where they are shown how to avoid being exposed to AIDS, or other sexually transmitted diseases. Teresa, the therapist, needs all the help she can get; unknown to her, her teen age daughter is pregnant. Her estranged husband is fond of visiting places where encounters can be easily arranged by the same women Teresa is trying to teach safe sex... The Good Life Hollywood Movie Review: The next story centers around a male beautician, Edmundo, who at the start of the movie goes to ask for a loan. Esmeralda, the lending officer, tells him in no uncertain terms he has no chances in what he wants to secure because he has no collateral. Esmeralda, who feels attracted to the man, becomes involved in an affair with Edmundo that seems to go nowhere. Edmundo, who wants to convince his mother to help him financially, gets no help from anyone. Eventually, Esmeralda realizes he is not the man for her. The third narrative involves a talented clarinetist, Mario, who goes for an audition with the Philharmonic. His performance is rudely interrupted by the judges, who don't seem to pay attention to the musicians they are supposed to rate. Mario's most treasured possession is the clarinet his girlfriend gave him as a gift and which he takes to all important dates. When the orchestra position doesn't materialize, Mario applies, and gets a position with the police band. The last and most eluding story involves a woman who is obviously a prostitute who is seen with a young child. She appears to be sick. She cuts a tragic figure snubbed by other street workers because of her appearance. What Andres Wood has accomplished is excellent performances from all the principals. Aline Kuppenheim, stands out as the tormented Teresa. She gives a nuanced performance. Eduardo Paxeco makes a valuable contribution as the taciturn Mario, who knows that in spite of having a great talent, he is ignored by the people that can help him. Roberto Farias is seen as Edmundo, in a role that was tailor-made to show his abilities. "La buena vida" is highly recommended for lovers of good cinema thanks to the work of Andres Wood, its director.Watch online Movie Trailer free La Buena Vida [The Good Life] English film. The film Directed by Andrés Wood.

A sumptuous dramatic comedy set in late 19th Century France, during the Belle Epoque, a period of social and cultural excess in European upper classes which ended only as the First World War erupted.. After the war the social environment was quite, quite different.) Costumes, set pieces, cinematography all embrace the delicious and beautiful in this story of courtesans of a certain age whose lives, now more concerned with grown children and investments in oil rather than in men, live in great luxury and wealth. When (still ravishing) Pfeiffer becomes reacquainted with her erstwhile friend's 19 year son, (also incredibly ravishing), the two begin an often haunting, life long journey steeped in love, lust, jealousy and desire. They are soul mates and their story bites deep into the tragic and the hilarious. Direction, script and acting, by all major players and even the minor ones, are all first rate. Tastefully sexy and sensual, sad and lovely and funny all at once, a film to capture awards and hearts worldwide. The film Directed by Stephen Frears and Producers: Bill Kenwright, Andras Hamori. It is turn of the century in Belle Epoque Paris and a scandalous romp is underfoot. The tale begins as the ravishing Lea contemplates retirement from her renowned stature as Paris's most envied seductress to the rich and famous. Her plans are cut short when she is approached by a former courtesan and arch rival, the barb-throwing gossip Charlotte Peloux, who encourages Lea to teach her disaffected 19 year-old son a thing or two about women. The resulting escapades involve power struggles over sex, money, age and society -- and unexpectedly, love itself -- as a boy who refuses to grow up collides with a woman who realizes she cannot stay young forever.
Cheri Hollywood Movie Review :
"Cheri" is the nickname given by Lea (Michelle Pfeiffer) to the young, much younger Fred, whom she brings to discover the truth about lovemaking, and unintentionally but inevitably, about loving. The actor playing Fred is handsome, attractive, but who really hits the sign (as usually, I would say) is Michelle Pfeiffer, who proved to be very courageous in playing a role where she constantly repeats to herself how old she is. Indeed, her beauty, elegance and refinement are always there to remind her and us how difficult it is to come to terms with ageing, mainly when beauty has been the very essence of your life.
The plot is almost absent, being the story more based on emotions, moods, sensations, rather than facts, and the movie in the end manages to capture the viewer, thanks to its capability to render the emotional side through glances and through effective and intense framing of both characters and situations: the last one is incisive, almost paralyzing.
Ironic and funny moments are not absent, mainly when Cathy Bates, playing the odd, high spirited mother, enters the scene, but the overall tone is a melancholic one, above all for the female public, we cannot but sympathize with Lea's inner strength, and at the same time feel moved by her deep suffering. From an aesthetic point of view, the movie is to be visually appreciated for its pleasant settings, its refined costumes and in general for a deep care for precious details.

Plot Summary
The rags-to-riches story of Chinese ballet dancer Li Cunxin who, at age 11, was chosen to train at Madam Mao's Beijing Dance Academy and later went on to become one of the world's greatest dancers. A drama based on the autobiography by Li Cunxin. At the age of 11, Li was plucked from a poor Chinese village by Madame Mao's cultural delegates and taken to Beijing to studyballet . In 1979, during a cultural exchange to Texas, he fell in love with an American woman. Two years later, he managed to defect and went on to perform as a principal dancer for the Houston Ballet and as a principal artist with the Australian Balle, The film Directed by Bruce Beresfordand Producer :Jane Scott
Synopsis:
This is a film that's irritating and rewarding in equal measure. The first half is fascinating though it is unshaded China bashing, like BALZAC & THE LITTLE SEAMSTRESS, which also puts Western culture against Asian oppression in simplistic terms. Clara Law's REINCARNATION OF GOLDEN LOTUS or FAREWELL CHINA are better, showing imperfect people twisted by the horrors of ideology run amok - more convincing, more involving. The new film's sensibility is of someone with a season ticket to theballet rather than an Asian heritage. However this is a film which will reach people who would never seek those out. It certainly has it's moments. The business of the secret Nureyev VHS is great and Chen sending the village officials on their way is worth a cheer. The Madam Mao figure demanding the gypsy-musicalballet be re-figured into a People's Opera is sharper on ballet than anything since the Herman Ross NIJINSKY and carries on through, with the Americans commenting that what they see is more like athletics. However the thing which should be the heart of the piece, the lead weighing up what he's believed all his life against what he finds in the US, is frustratingly reduced to a few mall bought consumables and a virginal blond. The film has it's strengths - MacLachlan's performance, the montages, the dream of an execution at dawn are stand outs, some of the ballet material is striking but the big finale with the suspiciously brief performance, followed with the on-stage reunion with the family, again lacks all the culture shock material thatthe film could have pivoted on and that Asian films that deal with the subject foreground.

With time, many fables have come to be associated with the ruined ship, of which one revolves around a treasure buried deep inside. Lured by the alleged riches, many treasure hunters have dived into the ocean. However, none of them has ever come back, with or without the wealth. Rather, the bloody trail of treasure hunters has added even more fascinating rumors to the alleged fortune, waiting to be discovered.
It is said that the treasure buried 250 feet deep into the sea is not only unreachable, but also dangerous. The reason – it is guarded by deadly sharks night and day. Now, three men have come to seek this treasure – Aarav (Akshay Kumar), Sagar (Sanjay Dutt) and Sam (Zayed Khan). Each one of them has a different motive behind his hunt for the riches. For Aarav, a filthy-rich guy, finding the treasure will give him a new high, while its search will allow him to seek the additional risk that makes life a thrilling venture.
The sincere and honest Sagar wants the treasure only for the purpose of saving his girlfriend Mona (Lara Dutta) and his brother. Last, but not the least, is the daredevil Sam, for whom it’s simply a matter of life and death. Whatever be their motives, the aim is the same – diving deep into the murky ocean and laying their hands on the treasure. As they move ahead, they not only have to deal with the sharks, but also the sinister side of human nature. Will they be able to win over the greed, treachery, and their pricking conscious?

Main Aurr Mrs. Khanna revolves around the story of Samir Khanna (Salman Khan) and Raina Khanna (Kareena Kapoor) who have a fairytale marriage. Samir gets his dream job and they have a great life until one wrong decision leads them to part their ways. Kareena Kapoor falls in love with Sohail Khan and eventually breaks up with Salman Khan.
Debutant director Prem Soni is amused that some idle minds are terming MAIN AURR MRS. KHANNA as an extra marital tale. Since Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor play a married couple in the film, rumour mongers are having a field day spreading the word that Sohail Khan and Preity Zinta turn out to be third and fourth angle in the love story of Khannas.
"Hello, this is entirely the story of Khannas. Kahaani poori Mr. aur Mrs. Khanna ki hai! Yes, Sohail does play a third angle in the film and his character is quite substantial too. But please, the film is not about an extra marital affair though", protests Prem who is quick learning the trick of the trade as far as pre-release buzz, hype, rumours, scandals and 'source stories' are concerned.
MAIN AURR MRS KHANNA Music Review
"God bless all these sources and their plug-ins", says Prem in a cheeky tone, "The movie has two lead actors - Salman (Khan) and Kareena (Kapoor). Of course Sohail is important as he represents the 'main' part of MAIN AURR MRS. KHANNA. He sees a lot of things from his point of view which perhaps Salman can't. Having said that, he has a lot of on-screen interaction with both."
Talking about Sohail being roped in for the part of Aakash, Prem adds, "Once Salman agreed to do the film, he made me meet Sohail. After going through the narration, he too was game for the role. In number of movies we have seen Salman and Sohail fighting out, though in a comical way, for a girl. Rest assured, you will see an altogether different interaction between the two this time around."
Produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Sohail Khan, MAIN AURR MRS KHANNA is all set for a worldwide release this Diwali on 16th October. Movie Preview

Movie Review
f you’ve ever heard the classic Rush song “Tom Sawyer,” you may have found yourself flailing your arms in a rhythmic motion known as “air drumming.” Neil Peart, Rush’s legendary drummer, casts a wicked spell, but if you’ve managed to avoid it, or think air drumming isn’t cool, I give you – Power.
Adventures of Power tells the comedic tale of a New Mexico mine worker named Power, who sets out to change the world through his love of drums. But he has never learned how to play. Instead, he air-drums at his aunt’s bar on talent night. After participating in an underground “drum off” in Mexico, he is spotted by a trainer from New York and asked to train with the team. As his fellow mine workers fight for their rights back home, Power finds himself in the air-drum fight of his life against a formidable and despicable rival. Summoning strength from inner desire, Power learns what’s been driving him his whole life: he doesn’t need drums. He is drums.
Having had three shorts in the Festival, Ari Gold returns with his feature debut and shows off his multifaceted talents of writing, directing, acting, and air drumming. Enlisting a terrific group of comedic actors, he has crafted a funny and charming tale of a man, his dream, and the passion that it takes to chase it. – Trevor Groth
When hard times hit a small mining town, Power (writer-director Ari Gold) doesn’t wish for riches; he only wishes that he’d learned to play drums. But his father (Michael McKean, Spinal Tap) could never afford to buy him a drum set, so Power has embraced the next best thing: air drumming. Tired of the constant ridicule, and with nothing but a few dollars, some breakfast cereal, and the support of his Aunt Joanie (Jane Lynch, Role Models), Power sets off across the country to the “paradise” of Newark, where an underground air drumming crew has invited him to join their team. But as the big air drumming competition looms, so does a rival—multi-millionaire drummer Dallas H. (Adrian Grenier, Entourage), who thinks air drumming is an abomination and seeks to destroy Power and his crew. More than just a rock’n’roll comedy, ADVENTURES OF POWER is an epic fable about the American Dream—about making something out of nothing, and trusting in your own heartbeat as a way of changing the world. With a phenomenal soundtrack featuring original songs alongside hits by Rush, Phil Collins, the Dazz Band, and more, ADVENTURES OF POWER will have you drumming in your seat and cheering on your feet.

What happens when a group of best friends from college reunite after 4 years; a pleasant mix of comedy, romance and slices of life that all of us can associate with. 3 nights and 4 days starring youthful stars like Samir Aftab and Hrishita Bhatt promises to be a surprisingly refreshing change for our recession stricken movie industry. The movie is about 6 friends who come together in Goa for 3 nights and 4 days to attend the wedding of Rocky (Samir Aftab) with his two year old girlfriend Marianne. But things are not the same with Rahul, Priya and Zoha; they have been busy making their careers and have different ideologies, whereas Amay and Antara are the same. The central role is being played Samir Aftab as Rocky, who is a trained musician and is settled in Goa. Rocky’s talents have always landed him at the right places, and he plays as the lead guy in a popular Jazz band in the beautiful city of Goa. He met his wife to be Marianne during a concert and now they are settling down together. The friends come together to remember old times, have fun on the beach and enjoy the wedding of their best friend. But surprises and emotional roller coasters are in store as they all witness Marianne backing away from the commitment of marriage. The story shows how the group evolves with each other and convinces Marianne to come back with Samir as she soon realizes that falling in love with Rocky was the best thing to happen to her. Throw in some very catchy songs, hilarious moments and romance in the air; and you have the perfect recipe for a feel good film to be enjoyed by everyone.
While for the most part, he’s been overshadowed by his elder brother Anu, composer Daboo Malik has steadily been making his mark within the music industry for a long time now. With films like Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar and Kisaan under his belt, Daboo now returns with his latest release, titled 3 Nights 4 Days, which is releasing on 9 October 2009. And he does quite well for himself…
Directed by Devang Dholakia, 3 Nights 4 Days is a youthful flick starring Anuj Sawhney and Hrishita Bhatt along with a host of newcomers; and like the film, its soundtrack, with Daboo at its helm, is similarly geared towards the youth in the listeners. Sunidhi Chauhan at Kal Kissne Dekha concert at Ahmedabad on 21st May 2009 (6)
Khawahishein, the opening number of the album, sees Sunidhi and Daboo himself on vocal duties. A bit too heavy on the techno sounds and beats, the song works nonetheless, as Sunidhi Chauhan works her magic. While Daboo is average as a vocalist, son Amal Malik’s fast-paced arrangement ensures that the song doesn’t slag when he’s on the mic. Not exactly the one that’ll turn into a club anthem, Khawahishein is still a good start.
Sheesha brings Neeraj Shreedhar to the mic with Sunidhi. A fast-paced track again, Malik gives this one a bit of a Middle-Eastern feel, in tune and vocals. While the Hin-glish lyrics are a bit jarring, the groove of the track is quite captivating.
Amal Malik sounds a bit too much like a karaoke singer on the under-produced Jaane Yeh Kaisi, which might just be the weakest link on the album. Something in the vein of the numerous Atif Aslam tracks doing the rounds of Bollywood, the song is hampered by Amal’s less-than-competent vocals and doesn’t garner a second listen from the audience. Akriti Kakkar at Blood donation drive – Rush of Blood in Carter Road on 6th Sep 2009 (14)
Daboo does well to pick up the slack with Har Mausam, the only ballad on the album. Akriti Kakkar and Soham sound perfect on the vocals and the soft, toned down arrangement adds to the mood. Malik’s composition also accommodates lyricist Panchhi Jalonvi’s English interludes and makes sure that the track stays in a listener’s mind for a long time.
Shaan and Sunidhi come in strong on Dosti…Forever, the peppy follow-on to the previous ballad. The foot-tapping composition and the light arrangement use the two singers’ voices perfectly and make the track a very catchy listen.
Macha Shor, which could be called the title track of the album, brings back Amal Malik to the mic, along with Shweta. The Mediterranean sound and the fast-pace help the track and Amal sounds much better than his previous track. The Hin-glish lyrics, with its Spanish sounding interludes, penned by Amal himself, are catchy, and when the track ends, one could be surprised to find oneself asking for more.
The remaining tracks, Marianne’s Sorrow, Dosti Theme, Retro Party3 Nights 4 Days Theme and are all instrumental or semi-instrumental shorts. Marianne’s Sorrow is a short instrumental track arranged to sound a bit foreboding, Retro Party isn’t much more than instrumental stock music drawn and arranged from the ’80s. Dosti Theme and 3 Nights 4 Days Theme are simply short, reduxed versions of Dosti…Forever and Macha Shor respectively and could be considered fillers on the album.
Overall, while album has its weak points, especially some of the choices for vocalists and the lyrics, they are outnumbered by the strengths of the album. Daboo Malik’s compositions are all well-etched and arranged and while there isn’t a lot of variety to it, 3 Nights 4 Days is a commendable effort from the composer.
