Slime City Massacre English Movie Review: Never one to turn down the opportunity to have fun and do something different, I can officially announce that I will be playing one of the male leads–Cory–in Greg Lamberson’s SLIME CITY MASSACRE, the long-awaited sequel to his cult classic SLIME CITY, an over-the-top, hilarious gorefest, which start shooting in July. SLIME CITY MASSACRE serves as both a prequel and a sequel to the original cult film. Flashbacks set in 1959 show how cult leader Zachary Devon formed his Coven of Flesh, and why its members committed ritual suicide, setting the stage for the events depicted in SLIME CITY. In the new film’s main narrative, set in a post holocaust New York City, four survivors discover Zachary’s elixir and “Himalayan yogurt” in the ruins of his soup kitchen and become possessed by the spirits of the dead cult members. The story focuses on a battle between three factions: the“Slime Heads,” cannibals and mercenaries. Popular actress and FANGORIA Radio hostess Debbie Rochon, award-winning horror author Kealan Patrick Burke, and newcomer Jennifer Bihl (who appeared in Lamberson’s short film GRUESOME) join SLIME CITY stars Robert C. Sabin and Mary Bogle for this new chapter in the slime saga. Flatmate English Movie Review: While the sequel to Jaume Balaguero and Paco Plaza's huge hit [REC] is still deep in post the fine people at Filmax have wasted no time in announcing Balaguero's next project. Titled Flatmate, Filmax have a huge poster for the film on the side of their booth here in Cannes but if they had promo flyers out that contained a hint of synopsis I didn't see them. Thus details are sketchy but this very clearly seems to be some sort of ghost or haunting film. More details as we get them. Fans of REC, Romasanta and one of the 6 Films to Keep You Awake ("To Let"), get ready for Flatmate, the latest Spanish horror-thriller from director Jaume Balagueró. When originally announced, the details were slim: "Alberto Marini's screenplay is set in New York." That was it. Well guess what? Beyond the break you'll find a monster synopsis and some early promo art that comes straight of the AFM. What a week I tell ya. Received a small tip today that Luís Tossar (although I'm pretty sure they meant Luís Tosar) will be toplining Flatmate for Filmax International. Tosar starred in Cell 211 and about a gazillion other Spanish films. Flatmate is to be directed by Jaume Balagueró off the success of his collaboration on REC and REC 2. He also directed two other genre films, Darkness and Fragile: A Ghost Story. Check out a synopsis below along with the early promo art. "We all know who our friends are but what about our acquaintances? Those people who play a small part in our everyday lives, how well do we really know them? And how well do they know us? After the success of Balagueró and Paco Plaza's [Rec] 2 at the Spanish box office, either director can likely do whatever they want, so it's nice to see Balagueró is sticking with the horror genre. Balagueró gave a brief synopsis of Flatmate to Aullidos, but, since it's in Spanish, we ran it through an online translator: The director has confirmed to us who the film will be acclimated in a very luxurious building in New York. In him, a perverse plan (until it could be said perverted) at the hands of the manager of the building will be developed. We think the key phrases here are "luxurious building in New York," "a perverse plan," and "manager of the buiding." but, just to be sure, we took the English translation and converted it back to Spanish. Then we translated it back into English just to see if more would be explained. And just to be sure you readers get the straightest shit possible, we did this three times. The director has confirmed the movie that acclimated in a very luxurious building in New York. In it, a bad plan (until can be that corrupted) in the hands that he is responsible for the building he will be developed. All cleared up! Sucks that I gotta wait until 2010 to see "a bad plan in the hands." At least the movie has acclimated in a luxurious, New York building!

First of all this is first zombie movie, and approximately 7th-8th horror (and again first comedy-horror) movie of Turkish movie industry. Just because it is having ALL these firsts in it, too many people just hate it which is occurring because of not being used to see this kinda Turkish stuff. Turkish way zombie like a tea-seller zombie holding a tray in his hand was something that HAS to be and it is in the movie. A Turkish granny zombie is also in it. All things start in a Turkish wedding.I can give so much examples that it was a Turkish made. The idea of zombies was not original of course since 1929 or when was filmed by Romero at 1969 (This is why my own people don't give this movie at least a shot. Not having "Originality"). The originality of this movie is the ability to adaptate Turkish values into a complete different never-tried area 'ZOMBİE stuff' Everything was perfect but actings.Don't even wanna talk about it.There is so much to say. And maybe the shoting of the film would be better with a steady-camera (dont know if it is called like this).

The Back-up Plan English Film Synopsis : After years of dating, Zoe (Jennifer Lopez) has decided waiting for the right one is taking too long. Determined to become a mother, she commits to a plan, makes an appointment and decides to go it alone. On the day of her artificial insemination, Zoe meets Stan (Alex O'Loughlin) a man with real possibilities. Trying to nurture a budding relationship and hide the early signs of pregnancy becomes a comedy of errors for Zoe and creates confusing signals for Stan. When Zoe nervously reveals the reason for her unpredictable behavior, Stan commits fully and says hes in. Never before has love seen a courtship where a wild night of sex involves three in a bed Stan, Zoe and the ever-present massive pregnancy pillow. Or, where date night consists of being the focal point at a near-strangers water birth which does for kiddie pools what Jaws did for swimming in the ocean. Despite the initial spark, the two lovers begin to wonder if they’re taking the right steps to an enduring romance. Chances are Jennifer Lopez’s second big-screen comeback attempt might be irresistible to the Sex and the City set (it’s cool that there’s a smattering of female-friendly movies this spring/summer). Look for a big return on a modest budget, though it’s doubtful Back-up will rack-up blockbuster numbers. Casting Patrick Dempsey might’ve helped to that end? Hopefully director Alan Poul, recently of the short-lived TV show “Swingtown”, will bring some of that show’s style to these proceedings. Just Pass Kannada Movie Review The Story: Hoovaiah (Dr.Vishnuvardhana) and Kanaka (Suhasini) with three children Sampige, Jaaji and Mallige is the highly respected family in Jenukoppa and surrounding villages. Hoovaiah is like Danashura Karna and his ideologies are Gandhian in nature. As his first daughter falls in love with a DC who comes to the village to evacuate the villagers he becomes very philosophical. He argues with the DC and says that at any cost he cannot win his heart and succeed in his work of evicting the people of his village. From here the film picks up its scale. In the house and in public Hoovaiah wages a lone battle. His second and third daughter also looks at their own ways. Hoovaiah at this time further become strong. For the multi national diamond company he files a case in the Supreme Court. In the meeting with ministers and multi national diamond company he gives wonderful statistics and walks out of the meeting firmly disagreeing to surrender his village for MNC's. At this time he loses his wife in the police atrocity and daughter joins a Naxal group next moment. Life becomes miserable in his village. The villagers of Jenukoppa desert him. In the dilapidated Mantap of the village he sits on a hunger strike. But before this he turns down the revolutionary stand of a youth. The hunger strike for retaining the village by Hoovaiah reaches the capital of state and Supreme Court of India. On the 10th day of hunger strike Hoovaiah wins the battle with silence.
