According to sources and authorities in Los Angeles say Lindsay Lohan’s father has been arrested over allegations he held his girlfriend against her will and prevented her from calling 911. Los Angeles county sheriff’s investigators say deputies were dispatched on a domestic violence call on Monday to Michael Lohan’s apartment.Sources stated that the 51 year old Michael Lohan was booked for investigation of preventing a report of victimization, false imprisonment, and infliction of corporal injury on a cohabitant, all felonies. His bail was set at two hundred thousand dollars. The girlfriend refused treatment of her injuries.
Sheriff’s investigators say Lohan was taken to the hospital after booking for a medical condition unrelated to the arrest. Michael Lohan has a huge history of arrests in New York over allegations of harassment from ex girlfriends. Other sources reminded people how he stood up for his daughter Lindsay Lohan when she was in such trouble over being drunk and driving. Along with all the other problems she has been putting herself through. She is due back in court before long as well. This is a family that has got to be in turmoil, all of them are by some means in trouble with the law and authorities. It tends to make people wonder where the priorities for this family lay and the morals they should be living by. Michael Lohan isn’t setting a very good example for his daughter and obviously it is showing in her actions too.
