There were rumours that Rani Mukherjee and Vidya Balan were not in good terms during the shooting of No One Killed Jessica. But they surprised everyone recently by kissing at a media event.The kiss between the actresses came as a big surprise though it was just a mock kiss. Vidya said that they did a mock kiss, as people keep asking if they had catfight during the shooting of the film and if they had kissed and made up. She added that it was not a publicity stunt, as neither she nor the film needed such publicity.
No One Killed Jessica is based on model Jessica Lal’s murder case. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala and directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the film has Rani playing the role of a reporter and Vidya playing Jessica’s younger sister Sabrina.
The film is set to hit the theatres tomorrow, January 7.
