1) Dhruv Sarja to debut in films with Addhuri:
After Arjun Sarja's nephew Chiranjeevi, it is his brother Dhruv Sarja's turn. Yes! Dhruv Sarja is entering Kannada film industry and his debut movie is titled Addhuri. Directed by Ambaari fame AP Arjun, actress Radhika Pandit is playing female lead alongside Dhruva in it.
Dhruv Sarja says that his grandfather Sakthi Prasad is his source of inspiration to choose acting as his career. He wanted to be an actor when he was a 13-year-old kid, but his uncle Arjun had advised him to groom well before entering films. So he has done an acting course at Abhinaya Taranga and prepared to rock the screen.
Director Arjun was impressed by Dhruv's acting in a play and selected him for his upcoming movie Addhuri. The film is a beautiful love story. His uncle also liked the script and suggested him to sign the movie. Dhruv is a singer in a music band, a body builder and gymnast. That's why he has undergone a rigourous training in body building and dialogue delivery for the film.
However, the actor has lost around 30 kg for the film. He is all excited and eagerly waiting to shoot his debut movie. Earlier, Arjun Sarja wanted to direct a particular fight sequences for his brother Chiru's film Vayuputra, but he could not do it. Now, he will helm that stunt sequences for this film.
2) Ragini Dwivedi teaming up with Chiranjeevi:
Actress Ragini Dwivedi, who is off to Phuket to shoot a song sequence with Vijay for her upcoming movie Shankar IPS, is now teaming up with Vayuputra actor Chiranjeevi Sarja in a new film. Titled Gandede, the movie will be directed by Telugu director Akula Shiva. It will start shooting this month end.Now, Ragini Dwivedi is all excited to act with Chiranjeevi Sarja. Ragini says, "Gandede will be a huge film for me. The film is being made by Ramu Enterprises, which has been making some huge films. I'm looking forward to work with Chiranjeevi, who looked so good in his debut film Vayuputra."
The Miss India beauty contestant debuted in Kannada with the film Veera Madakari. Later, she has also acted in the Tamil film Ariyan. Recently, the actress was roped in for Challenging star Darshan's upcoming movie, but she was dumped from the project after she starred in an item song of the movie Gokula.
Ragini's first Kannada film is Holi, which is about the Devadasi system (prostitution), but the film has been delayed for long due to some unknown reason. Presently, she is busy shooting of her next Kannada movie Shankar IPS with Duniya Vijay. The film is being directed by MS Ramesh.
Ragini says that now she is being contacted by some Tamil film producers for some new films. She may sign a new Tamil film shortly. She feels that everything is happening well in her career front.
3) Chiranjeevi's Vaayuputhra hits the screen today
After two long years, Chiranjeevi Sarja-Andrita Ray starrer Vaayuputhra is all set to release on Friday September 3. Kannada film Vaayuputhra has been produced by actor Arjun Sarja and directed by his late actor-turned-director Kishore Sarja. The movie features 'Rebel Star' Ambareesh in a special role.
Although the release of the movie Vaayuputhra has been delayed for two years, Chiranjeevi Sarja has not lost his hope. He says, "I'm not upset with the delayed release of the movie. If something big has to come, it takes a long time. I hope my first movie would be the best movie. I watched the first copy of Vaayuputhra, which has come out really well."Chiranjeevi is a graduate and has undergone training at Kishore Namit Kapoor’s acting school. His uncle Arjun Sarja has been source of inspiration for him. He helped him fulfil his dreams. “I wanted to be an actor when I was studying in class 6. My uncle told me, ‘I’ll make you an actor’. Since I was in boarding school, during my holidays my uncle used to take me to the locations to watch the shoot," debut actor Chiranjeevi says.
Besides producing the film, Arjun Sarja himself has played a cameo role in the film Vaayuputhra. V Harikrishna has composed music and V Nagendra Prasad and Kaviraj have penned the lyrics of the movie. Sadhu Kokila, Ramesh Bhat and Padmaja Rao are in other star cast.
