Movie Plot Summary:
A suspense-filled glimpse into the dark corridors of political power, FAIR GAME is a riveting action-thriller based on the autobiography of real-life undercover CIA operative VALERIE PLAME (Naomi Watts), whose career was destroyed and marriage strained to its limits when her covert identity was exposed by a politically motivated press leak.
As a covert officer in the CIA’s Counter-Proliferation Division, Valerie leads an investigation into the existence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Valerie’s husband, diplomat JOE WILSON (Sean Penn), is drawn into the investigation to substantiate an alleged sale of enriched uranium from Niger. But when the administration ignores his findings and uses the issue to support the call to war, Joe writes a New York Times editorial outlining his conclusions and ignites a firestorm of controversy.
Fair Game: Synopsis:
"Fair Game" is a drama about the outing of CIA agent Valerie Plame Wilson. Ambassador Joseph Wilson watched his wife's CIA status become compromised after he wrote op-ed columns that accused the Bush Administration of manipulating intelligence about weapons of mass destruction to justify the invasion of Iraq.
Plame Wilson left the CIA in 2005 and she and her husband filed a civil suit against Vice President Dick Cheney, Karl Rove and Cheney's ex-chief of staff, Lewis "Scooter" Libby. While Rove and Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage admitted they leaked her agency status to journalists, Libby was convicted of lying to a federal grand jury about his role in compromising her covert status.Movie News:

2) Fair Game: Summit Sets Fair Game Release Date July 21st, 2010
Summit Entertainment has set the domestic release for Doug Liman's Fair Game for Nov. 5, and plans to expand the Naomi Watts-Sean Penn starrer on the following two weekends.
According to Variety, the film centers on outed CIA agent Valerie Plame.
Summit also announced that it will release The Darkest Hour for Aug. 5, 2011. The film centers on four young tourists who find themselves stranded in Moscow, fighting to survive in the wake of a devastating alien attack.
