Movie KRISHNA NEE LATE AAG BARO Review: Actor Mohan has put the right foot forward in his first directorial venture, by selecting a complete family entertainer. With a neat script and lively narration, the director has given a comical touch to the story, with rib-tickling dialogues and sequences that are close to everyone's heart. But there is a need to trim the story by at least 20 minutes in the second half to make it more enjoyable, which otherwise looks like an overdose of entertainment.
The story KRISHNA NEE LATE AAG BARO has several interesting characters like Math lecturer Krishna (Ramesh), who has developed an aversion to girls, Sundaram Pillai (Mohan), Sumithra Andal (Neethu), Lakshmi (Nidhi Subbaiah), Ramesh Iyengar (Dattanna) and `package couple' Sundararaj and Shobha Shivalingaiah. We also have funny man Chakocha Swamy (Bank Janardhan), who is Krishna's guru.Lakshmi wants to marry Krishna, but the latter does not like her. Similarly, Sumithra Andal is in love with Sundaram Pillai, but her traditional father, Ramesh Iyengar, wants his choice, Mukunda Iyengar (Sundar) as his son-in-law. The story takes a curious turn when the garlanded photo of Krishna, along with Sumithra, appear in newspapers. The rest is full of entertainment.

Hats off to Ramesh for his brilliant performance. Mohan is as good as his direction. Neethu and Nidhi Subbaiah are excellent, as is Sundararaj. Dattanna is gracious, while Pravin Godkhindi's music is impressive.

Parole Kannada Film Review :
What could have been a really a edge of the seat thriller has ended up as an ordinary revenge drama. This may be an unanimous verdict about "Parole" that had raised high expectations before its release. The film made by National Award winning editor Suresh Urs, had interesting promos.
Director Rajashekha's first film "Amrutha Vani" was a love story, but he has changed track with "Parole". Before the release, he claimed that he wrote the story after reading many crime related real life incidents in newspapers and that he interviewed several criminals who had come out on parole to understand their psyche.

A touch of authenticity was naturally expected and Rajashekhar doesn't disappoint in the first half. But in the second half mediocrity sets in.
The main problem is that the director has not been able to maintain consistency in the narrative. Some of the sequences look so amateurish that it is evident he has not learned any lessons from the failure of his first film.

There are no fresh elements in the script and some times it looks as if we are watching a 20-year-old movie.
Talking about the finer points of the film, Kishor's performance takes the cake. The dialogues by B.A. Madhu are well written and two songs are well choreographed.
Rahul (Sooraj) and Nikhitha Supreetha) are studying medicine. They are in love with each other. Jaani (Sharath), who is one of Rahul's close friends, is also madly in love with Nikitha.
Jaani and his three friends Gopi (Likith Shetty), Sharath (Vishwas) and Raj (Pradeep) kill Rahul and they get convicted on the basis of the evidence provided by Rahul's brother. Using their influence and money power, the four friends come out on parole and plan to kill Rahul's father Shantha Murthy (B. Suresh) and younger brother.

They manage to kill Rahul's brother. An enraged Shantha Murthy decides to avenge the death of his two sons and kills Gopi, Sharath and Jaani. A police officer, who is investigating the case, finds a pattern in these killings and finally nabs Shantha Murthy.

Thipparalli Tarlegalu Kannada Film Review :
The first thing that comes to mind after watching this satire is, can a National Award winning director like S.V. Rajendra Singh Babu make such a crap with such brazen indifference?
Babu has won many prestigious awards for his memorable films like ‘Muthina Haara’, ‘Bandhana’ and ‘Antha’. What inspired a director like him to make a meaningless film like ‘Thipparalli Tarlegalu’? Well, only Babu can answer this question and introspect about his stature which may well be at its lowest ebb after this film.

‘Thipparalli Tarlegalu’ is an aberration from the director’s list of memorable films which were discussed more for their aesthetic presentation and extra-ordinary performances. But ‘Thipparalli Tarlegalu’ will be remembered for his fall as a director and his complete lack of judgement in choice of script.
The film is neither a political satire nor an entertaining comedy – it is only an illogical mix of a bad story, insipid presentation and low technical values. Even the presence of Ambareesh in the memorable role of the Kanwar Lal does not help.

Babu had achieved a little bit of success with the light-hearted film ‘Kurigalu Sir Kurigalu, Kothigalu sir Kothigalu’. The audiences’ appreciated the film because of a neat and interesting narrative coupled with good music. But ‘Thipparalli Tarlegalu’ fails in totality.
Set in a big city, the film shows a most neglected ward where three youngsters working as tailor, barber and a washerman dream of many things. All of them lead a reckless life only to realise their follies after the death of a small boy in their ward. They burgle unaccounted money from the residence of a minister’s confidant. They want to use the money for the needy but they don’t know how. And then enters Kanwarlal (Ambareesh) who finds a solution to their desire.
The film suffers not only from lack of creativity in presentation, but also from lackadaisical performances. Ambareesh looks too tired to play the immoral role of Kanwarlal that capitulated him to stardom. Except Komal, who shows his mark in comedy timing, the other two artists S. Narayan and Om Prakash Rao fail to make a mark because of a badly drafted script.
Doddanna, Sadhu Kokila, Bullet Prakash and Lingenahalli Sureshchandra have performed their roles with ease. But all the heroines are wasted in the movie.
Though Giri’s camera work is decent, Krupakar’s music is a big letdown.
‘Thipparalli Tarlegalu’ is a forgettable film from a well-known director.
