Madhuri Dixit surpasses Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan when it comes to fame and selling on Indian Television. Her presence on the show Jhalak Dikhala Jaa 4, Sony TV, made the show the biggest hit with no less than 5.6 percent of television rating.Amitabh Bachchan's Kaun Banega Crorepati on Sony TV, opened with a viewership of 4 percent, while Shahrukh Khan's Zor Ka Jhatka on Imagine TV managed to just score 2.6 percent on the viewership scale.
Sony TV authorities are happy that though they paid Madhuri a fraction of what they paid to Amitabh Bachchan, the actress turned out to be a money spinner for them. It is said that unlike married actors, married actresses tend to lose their popularity on the silver screen, however Madhuri's short term visit to India has proved the saying wrong.
The superstar now also holds the potential of giving the young ladies a run for their money. It is reported that Madhuri Dixit has also been roped in for the next season of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa. The actress was approached for a lot of films while her stay in India, however none of them succeeded in luring her.
