Kate Winslet has praised actor and close pal Leonardo DiCaprio for helping her during the bad times. The actress, who separated from director Sam Mendes in March 2010, has said that the actor stood behind her and supported her post-split.Kate Winslet revealed that Leonardo DiCaprio used to lift her spirits, when she was down. The actress also adds that they share their experiences and respect each other. She also declared that the actor knows her better than anyone else in the world
"He knows me better than anyone else in the world. Lots of male friendships begin as a cheeky snog. Or a little undercurrent of flirtation. But Leo and I? No. He's my rock," Contactmusic quoted her, as telling Vogue magazine.
However, she is eagerly waiting for Mildred Pierce, a five-part mini-series due for broadcast by HBO on 27 March 2011. Her next venture Contagion will hit the screens on October 21, 2011.
