With the release date of Dhobi Ghat drawing near, Kiran Rao, who is making her directorial debut with the film, has revealed that she wanted Salman Khan to act in the film.“Initially I was thinking to get Salman to do a special appearance for the film, wherein Munna gets a chance to meet Salman. But when the script was ready that scene didn't fit into it,” CNN IBN quoted Kiran as saying.
In fact, the character played by Pratiek Babbar in the film is a huge fan of Salman. “His room has many Salman Khan’s pictures. There is a Katrina Kaif picture too, because while we were shooting, Salman and she were still together. There is also one picture of Aishwarya’s eyes,” She added.
Dhobi Ghat, starring Aamir Khan and Pratiek Babbar is scheduled for release on January 21.
