The Bollywood movie awards season should be in full swing from January-February 2011. So you will have Filmfare Awards 2010, Screen Awards 2010, Stardust Awards, IIFA Awards, Sansui Awards etc. The most prominent awards of them all are Filmfare Awards. Earlier, the Filmfare Awards commanded a lot of respect and importance; a gala event attended by the who’s who of the industry. Now only the people who perform and those who are marked for awards attend. Still, one cannot discount the fact Filmfare Awards are a barometer to assess the records and triumphs as a film, a performance or a technical genius.
