Actress Priyamani has regretted her decision to act in Rakta Charitra after her performance in the film went unnoticed. The actress, who played the role of Gangula Bhanumati in RC series, has decided not to act in such films anymore.

According to reports, the 26-year-old actress has compared her awarding winning performance in Paruthiveeran with Ram Gopal Varma's Rakta Charitra. She thought that the Partiala Ravi's biopic film would bring her enough name but it went the other way, feels actress. It may be recalled that her role of Vennila in Raavanan had also failed to hog the limelight.

However, Rakta Charitra series got good reviews from the critics but failed to impress Tamil and Hindi audiences. In Telugu, first instalment was an instant hit but second part was just an average film.
