Rakta Charitra's success postpones its sequel

The success of Rakta Charitra – 1 (RC) has postponed the release of its sequel by a week. Ram Gopal Varma, who unveiled the background audio of second part of the film, announced the newly scheduled date yesterday (November 2).

The Telugu and Tamil versions of Rakta Charitra 2 will hit the screens on November 26 but the Hindi version will be released on December 3. Sources say that the distributors asked the director to postpone the movie, as RC- 1 is running full houses in the theatres.

However, the sequel of Rakta Charitra has drawn more attention than the first part. It may be because of the presence of south star Surya, who is portraying the role of Suryanarayan Reddy aka Maddelacheruvu Suri.
