Mallika Sherawat has a huge fan following in Tamil Nadu, especially in Chennai. She became more popular with her debut Tamil film 'Dasavatharam', in which she paired with Universal hero Kamal Haasan. Mallika Sherawat has already been part of an international project 'The Myth' starring opposite superstar Jackie Chan as the female lead. Now she is gearing up for the release of her next film Hisss, which has been simultaneously shot in Hindi and English.

The film is produced by Govind Menon, Vikram Singh, Ratan Jain and William Sees Keenan and is directed by Jennifer Lynch.

Since the film is simultaneously releasing in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam, Mallika Sherawat is promoting the film across in various parts of India. Recently, she was in Kerala offering prayers at Mannarasala temple in Allapuzha district.

Says Mallika Sherawat: “Oh my Goddess!! I just had the most incredible experience at the ancient snake temple in Mannarasala. I feel so blessed! Prayed for everyone.”

In the past, Snake based fantasy films 'Neeya' and 'Pournami Naagam' have been good hits in Tamil Nadu. Precisely, this has raised everyone’s hopes on this movie.
