American actress Minka Kelly has been named the Sexiest Woman Alive for the year 2010. And this is quite an achievement for a girl who has graduated from a scrub nurse to a sexy actress. It was in the November issue of the Esquire magazine where Minka Kelly was voted the Sexiest Living Woman in the world. The actress who is known for her washboard abs was once heard saying that she is comfortable in practically whatever she wears, and it is probably this cool attitude that Minka Kelly sports, led her to the top of the rankings.

Reports claim that Minka Kelly was tending to amputations and gunshot wounds more than four years back when she received a call to play the role of one of the most important characters in a television drama. Since then Minka Kelly never had to look back. Once the popular face of American television hit TV series “Friday Night Lights”, Minka Kelly has been a part of several hit sitcoms like “500 Days of Summer” and “Parenthood”. The actress is equally popular as the ex girlfriend of John Mayer.

At 30 years of age, life has not looked better for the sexy siren, or so it seems. Minka Kelly has not only been named the Sexiest Woman Alive in 2010, she is also all set to appear in her next television ventures “The Roommate” and “Searching for Sonny”. Minka Kelly is currently engaged to Yankee player Derek Jeter.
