BLUEFIELD, W.Va.- Crews are set to begin production this week in Bluefield on a low-budget, supernatural film.
"The Legend of Black Annie" is being directed, written and produced by Bluefield native Terrence Flack.
Casting of local actors was held in August. The film will feature locations throughout the Bluefield area.
Unit production manager Nicholas Fox says the film is set through a period of five decades, starting in the 1960s. He says producers are looking for extras for the film along with cars and other items from the various time periods.
Fox says crews will spend 26 days in Bluefield working on the film and initial screenings are expected to take place around Halloween 2011
