Who will win the race - Amitabh, Kamal or Mammootty?

Having won National Award for his performance in Paa, Amitabh has three Best Actor awards in his kitty. He had earlier won Best Actor awards for his role in Agneepath and Black. He also won National Award for his performance in his debut film Saath Hindustani but it was in Best Newcomer category.

Kamal Hassan too has won three National Awards. He bagged Best Actor awards for his performances in Moondram Pirai, Nayagan and Indian. He won National Award for his role in Selvam but it was in Best Child Artiste category.

Malayalam superstar Mammootty has also won three National Awards for Best Actor. He bagged Best Actor awards for his roles Babasaheb Ambedkar, Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha and Vidheyan, Ponthan Mada. He was nominated for National Film Awards for 2009 too but lost to Amitabh Bachchan.

Well, with all the superstars winning three National Awards each, it will be interesting to see who among them wins the next National Award!
