The Story : Vettaikaran is about an youngster who comes to Chennai for earning his livelihood. Over there, he comes across the baddies deteriorating the society and hatches plans to bash them down for the sake of innocents lives.

Finally good news for all Vijay fans. Sun Pictures who has acquired Vettaikaran movie rights, has now confirmed that the film will hit screens during Christmas on December 18. Its time for Vijay fans to give order for their favourite Vijay vinyl flexes to erect in front of theatres, buy litres of milk for milk abhishegam which has been a tradition followed for each of hisrelease, give wholesale order for crackers.
Vettaikaran Tamil Film Plot :
Vettaikkaaran (Tamil: வேட்டைக்காரன்) is a forthcoming Tamil feature film directed by débutante film director Babu Sivan. The film is produced by M. Balasubramanian and B. Gurunath Meiyappan. The film will star Vijay and Anushka Shetty in the lead roles. The film's background score and soundtrack will be composed by Vijay Antony while Gopinath will be the film's main cinematographer and V. T. Vijayan as the film's editor. The film was launched in February 2009 and the shooting for the film commenced the following month.
