Adding one more to the hot themes in Kollywood would be Namitha's forthcoming venture Azhagana Ponnuthan. The movie featuring Namitha is about a 16-year-old boy falling in love with a 26-year-old woman living next door. A debutant Raja Karthick plays the 16-year-old boy who loves Namitha living next door in the movie. The movie would hit the theatres early next month.

Azhagana Ponnuthans music is by Chithiram Pesuthadi fame Sundar C Babu. Post Pachchakkuthirra, Namitha had been on a signing spree accepting nearly four offers.Azhagana Ponnuthan film is about a teenage lad falling in love with a much older woman.

Azhagana Ponnuthan movie is directed by Thiru. The Namitha starrer Azhagana Ponnuthan is gearing up for a release soon. The film has been in the making for quite a long time due to several issues. The actress Namitha teams up with newbie Raj Karthik in the film. As per sources, the film is about a teenage lad falling in love with a much older woman. The story, screenplay and dialogues have been penned by Thiru apart from wielding the megaphone. The film is produced by K Cinemas’ Kesavan. The film’s music is scored by Sundar C Babu of Chithiram Pesuthadi, Anjathey and Naadodigal fame.

In spite of the big drubbing of her last release Pachchakkuthirra, Namitha still manages to find offers coming her way.

She is cast opposite a newcomer in Minnaladikuthu, which is all set to hit the floors soon.

Meanwhile shooting for her another movie titled Azhagana Ponnuthan starring opposite a newcomer again commenced on Wednesday at a function held in Chennai.

L Kesavan is producing the movie with music by 'Chithiram Pesuthadi' fame Sundar C Babu and direction is by Thirugnanam.

According to the producer, 'As the title suggests the movie revolves around Namitha. With a enthusiastic cast and crew, we hope that the movie come good. All thanks to Namitha for accepting to be part of the movie'.
