Movie Plot Summary:
Inspired by ~Los Angeles Times writer Leslie Gornstein's article "A Jinx in a Box," this horror film from Ghost House Pictures and director Ole Bornedal (Nightwatch) tells the tale of a broken family that comes under attack from a malevolent supernatural entity of Jewish folklore. Shortly after her parents (Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Kyra Sedgwick) divorce, a young girl purchases an ornate antique box at a yard sale. In the weeks that follow, the young girl forms an intense fixation on the box, her behavior growing increasingly bizarre as she falls into the grip of a diabolical apparition. When the girl's father discovers that the relic is in fact a holding cell for the disconnected soul of a deceased person who has been denied entry into the afterlife and needs a human host to inhabit, he fights to rid her of the evil that threatens to consume her body and soul....

Movie Plot:

Movie Plot Summary:

Movie Review:
Lately, Bollywood has been exploring the untravelled road of the youth. Be it Pyaar Ka Panchnama or Luv Ka The End, all of them have managed to win the hearts of the viewers. Delhi Belly will do the same, expect for that this comic thriller only targets the youth and no one else. It is strictly not a family watch at your drawing room. Delhi Belly, starring Imran Khan, Vir Das, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Shenaz Treasurywala and Poorna Jagannathan, has been directed by Abhinay Deo and produced by Aamir Khan. Yes, the tag Aamir Khan itself describes the uniqueness of Delhi Belly.

Tashi (Imran Khan), Arup (Vir Das) and Nitin (Kunaal Roy Kapur) are flat mates, buddies and that by default makes them partners in crime. Tashi is to get married in a month to the glamorous and beautiful Sonia (Shenaz Treasurywala). Arun has been dumped by his girlfriend and is annoyed over his boss, who has a weird idea of creativity, sketching a smiling banana. Nitin a foody will soon discover that eating delicious Tandoori Chicken off a street vendor is going to give him the worst case of Delhi Belly. Three of them lead a regular life till they get on the hit list of a deadly crime syndicate (Vijay Raaz). And the story unfolds.

Delhi Belly has a novel story presented in an entirely new way, which involves cuss words, outrageous -daring moments, raucous, boisterous, potty-mouthed caper. In short it is a raunchy youth film that may give a culture shock to Indian audience. The smart screenplay and witty and colourful dialogue adds up a lot of energy to the film. Thumps up to the writer Akshat Verma, who steals away the show with an original and colourful idea. Script is airtight and you can't afford missing even one scene from the film.

Though Delhi Belly seems to be inspired by adult comedies of Hollywood, but director Abhinay Deo and writer Akshat Verma have maintained the Indianess of the film at heart. Delhi Belly is fully desi with a videsi touch. The humor is on the face and sardonic. Delhi Belly carries a lingo that the youth would connect with instantly and perhaps, it may go down as a cult film in its genre. The location of the film reveals the real Delhi with crammed bylanes and middle class surrounding. Music Delhi Belly by Ram Sampat is innovative. 'DK Bose' stands out among the youth.

Performance:
Delhi Belly is basically a boy's film and boy's films are always fun. The chemistry between the three actors is superb and that is what makes the script come alive. There sense of humour is in a smooth sync. Imran is at his best, it won't be wrong to say that this is his best work till date. Vir Das is incredible. Kunaal Roy Kapur is the scene-stealer. Shenaz Treasurywala acts well. Poorna Jagannathan catches your eye. Vijay Raaz is exceptional. Paresh Ganatra is equally competent. Rahul Singh is perfect.

Over All:
Over All we assure that you will exit the auditorium with a grin on your face. Delhi Belly works big time. An incredible film that takes you to the untapped world of youth. Don't forget to catch the show!

The news about director Quentin Tarantino's wild night with an Indian girl has become a big sensation on the internet. The reports about the Kill Bill director’s one night stand with Beejoli Shah is making rounds on the internet immediately after the 23-year-old girl, who is a graduate from University of California Berkeley, revealed about her smooch with him in an email sent to 15 of her friends.

In the email, Beejoli Shah has narrated the whole story about meeting Quentin Tarantino and spending a wild night with him at his residence. She says that she met the director at a party and they later kissed in the kitchen, which prompted Tarantino to invite her to come over to his residence.

Los Angeles, July 1 : After enjoying the action-adventure of 3D movies, there's a new experience in store with the fourth instalment of Warner Bros' "Spy Kids" - audiences will be able to smell the aroma used in it when it releases worldwide in 4D August 19.

Directed by Robert Rodriguez, "Spy Kids: All the Time in the World" features Aromascope, a technology that allows people to smell the odours and aromas used in the film.
The audiences will be given a scratch card and the numbers on it will appear during a scene. When audiences scratch it, they will get the aroma.

The film revolves around twins Rebecca and Cecil, who cannot get along with their stepmother, Marissa Cortez Wilson (Jessica Alba), who married their father, Wilbur Wilson (Joel McHale), a spy-hunting reporter.

Washington, June 30: Emma Watson has revealed that she had a low-key experience of doing her own make-up and choosing her own clothes when she posed for a series of paintings.

The `Harry Potter' actress worked with artist Mark Demsteader on the new exhibition, which will benefit the African charity CAMFED, and she admitted being on such a low-key set, which didn't have a team of stylists and make-up professionals, was a strange experience.

"As it takes Mark several months to create the pieces, he finds it easier to work from photographs so I met him and a photographer for a day's photo shoot in north London back in January," Contactmusic quoted Watson as telling UK Vogue.

"It was a really simple shoot with just a single light to cast shadows. We took lots of pictures in a variety of poses and Mark went away and selected 30 or so to turn into paintings.

"Whilst I didn't sit for Mark as such, it was a completely different photo shoot to anything I've ever done before. It was really low-key - I did my own makeup and just brought a selection of very simple dresses for the silhouette. Mark did the lighting," she revealed. (ANI)

Tyson, 44, nicknamed `The Baddest Man On The Planet', is one of sport's most controversial figures in and out of the ring.

He was jailed for raping beauty queen Desiree Washington in 1992. On his release he had a series of comeback fights.
But in 1997 he shocked boxing again after biting off part of opponent Evander Holyfield's ear.

The fighter, known as `Iron Mike'' for his tenacity in the ring, hung up his gloves in 2002 after Britain's Lennox Lewis beat him.
In recent years his life has hit a downward spiral as he was declared bankrupt in 2003 and became addicted to cocaine.

Then his daughter Exodus, 4, died in an accident on an exercise machine in 2009.
But Tyson has rebuilt his life and quit drugs. And this week he renewed his marriage vows to wife Lakiha, 32, in Las Vegas.
"To get Mike Tyson on Big Brother would be an amazing coup," the Daily Star quoted a show source as saying.

The Story:

Singham (English: Lion) is an upcoming action film directed by Rohit Shetty starring Ajay Devgn and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles. The film is a remake of the successful 2010 Tamil film, Singam, which was directed by Hari and featuring Suriya in the lead role. Theatrical trailer was released along with Salman Khan's Ready on 3 June 2011.

After the success of the Tamil film ,Singam, directed by Hari in 2010, the film's remake rights were sold by the producers for Hindi and Kannada versions. The co-producers of the Tamil version, Reliance Big Pictures also purchased the Hindi remake rights and announced in November 2010 that the version would feature Rohit Shetty as director and Ajay Devgn in the lead role.Prakash Raj was signed on to reprise his role if the antagonist from the original, whilst reports emerged that Asin and Anushka Shetty were being considered for the female lead role. Anushka later declined the offer and was subsequently replaced by Kajal Aggarwal, another actress who had predominantly featured in South Indian films in her career.

The first schedule began in early March 2011 with action sequences shot in Goa featuring technicians from South India.

Written and directed by Jonathan English, who is still a relative newcomer (meaning I don’t really remember his other work), Ironclad has a great cast, with Paul Giamatti, Brian Cox, Kate Mara (okay, not the best actress, but she’s pretty), James Purefoy, and Derek Jacobi. With such a good cast, the film has to be at least decent.

Storyline:
It is the year 1215 and the rebel barons of England have forced their despised King John to put his royal seal to the Magna Carta, a noble, seminal document that upheld the rights of free-men. Yet within months of pledging himself to the great charter, the King reneged on his word and assembled a mercenary army on the south coast of England with the intention of bringing the barons and the country back under his tyrannical rule. Barring his way stood the mighty Rochester castle, a place that would become the symbol of the rebel's momentous struggle for justice and freedom.

There are plenty of lower-budget independent films that have gone on to be more critically acclaimed and more financially profitable than big-budget Hollywood pictures. What is rare, however, is an indie film that masquerades as one of these pictures. A self-labelled "all- star indie action blockbuster" and "inspired by history",'Ironclad' is such a film, trying to redefine the boundaries of British cinema.

Whether by intention or by coincidence, 'Ironclad' picks up a few years after the end of Ridley Scott's 'Robin Hood'. It is England, 1215. King John (Paul Giamatti) has been forced to sign the Magna Carta, which limits his power and ensures the freedom of men.

With the help of a Danish army, the King rampages across the country to regain absolute power. Baron Albany (Brian Cox) and a band of rebels take Rochester Castle in an attempt to stop the tyrant king. A siege takes place, and the rebels must hold the castle until reinforcements arrive.

The film certainly ticks many of the boxes of an action blockbuster. There's a clear "big bad guy vs. underdog good guy" vibe, plenty of action, and some veterans among the B-list cast. The $25 million budget, although pocket change in Hollywood, shows how badly this indie film wants to be big. A big film, however, is not necessarily a good film.

'Ironclad' is at its strongest when it comes to the physical side of things. It does not shy away from gory violence. Heads, hands and feet go flying, blood splatters all over the the camera's lens, and there's a particularly nasty bit involving a man and a catapult. The weapons feel like instruments of destruction rather than Medieval-chic accessories, and often succeed in making viewers wince.

The fight choreography is particularly impressive - characters look like soldiers trying to tear each others' hearts out, as opposed to actors trying to high-five each other's swords. The action sacrifices style and appearance for physicality and brutality, which results in a refreshing level of authenticity.

The 13th century England recreated looks good enough to fool anyone but a history buff. Giamatti and Cox play their roles with conviction and succeed in getting the story moving. Giamatti is particularly watchable, playing King John as an unhinged sadist.

The narrative is where 'Ironclad' falters. Fully aware that the film is essentially about a group of soldiers in a building, the writers have tried to spice things up. One of the rebels (James Purefoy) happens to be a Templar Knight. He regrets killing people for God, so he goes on a diet of silence and chastity, the latter of which is tested (of course) by the lady of the castle (Kate Mara). These are ill-advised attempts at emotional content and only serve to distract from what should have been a simpler, more polished affair.

Regrettably, the filmmakers decided to emulate that most repulsive staple of modern action blockbusters - the shaky-cam. Specifically namechecking 'Transformers 2' and the 'Bourne' sequels as influences (not a good sign), they decided to shake the picture to create "a very real sense of action".

What is achieved instead is a very real sense of frustration every time the action is made unnecessarily incoherent. Once again, the "Michael Bay Effect" has ruined a film that would have otherwise looked excellent, and wasted the work of an obviously talented action choreographer.

Despite its flaws, fans of mud'n'blood, hack'n'slash mini-epics will find plenty to like in 'Ironclad'. It is comparable to 'Robin Hood' despite costing $130 million less to make. Director Jonathan English wanted to create an action blockbuster. In terms of scale and ambition, he has succeeded. But blockbusters aren't perfect, and neither is this.
